Lilies

The flower arrangements shown here all include Lilies.

Lilies are strongly upright plants, usually with one leafy stem per bulb. Generally the leaves are narrow and usually linear to lanceolate. Large, sometimes fragrant, trumpet-, cup-, or bell-shaped flowers with widely flared or recurved petals form at the top of the stems. The flowers occur in all colors except blue and are often beautifully marked with flecks or zones of contrasting colors.
