Carnations

The flower arrangements shown here all include Carnations.

Did you know: Carnations are used as flavouring agents in the manufacture of beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages? Please don't try that at home! The staff at Flowers with Passion have designed and crafted only the most beautiful arrangements using carnation

Most species in this genus form a small clump of narrow gray-green to blue-green leaves, while a few develop longer, sometimes wiry stems. From late spring, the flowers are borne singly or in small heads at the tops of wiry stems, and often have a spicy scent. Hugely popular as cut flowers and garden plants, there are thousands of cultivars whose flowers vary greatly in size, color, and pattern.

Flowering Season: Summer, Autumn, Spring
