The flower arrangements shown here all include Tulips.

Most tulips have just a few stemless, gray-green to blue-green leaves that may be grassy or quite broad, sometimes with contrasting markings. Most often they bear just a single flower, though some have up to 6 flowers per bulb. The flowers, which have 6 tepals, occur in all colors except true blue.

The flowers vary widely between the species, and so many hybrids and cultivars exist that they are often divided into 15 groups based primarily on parentage and flower type. These groups are: Single Early, Double Early, Triumph, Darwin Hybrid, Single Late, Lily-flowered, Viridiflora, Rembrandt, Parrot, Double Late or Peony-flowered, Kaufmanniana, Fosteriana, Greigii, and Miscellaneous.
